Atroxkit burst from the nursery, his black and white pelt fluffed out as he sniffed the air.
Wolffang squeezed out of he nursery and ppurred at her son.

Silentkit followed after his brother and mother, though more cautiously than Atroxkit. He warily took in his surroundings, taking in every detail of the new world around him.

Wolffang wrapped her tail around Silentkit as Atroxkit sniffed around. "It's ok, silentkit." she purred.

Silentkit nodded, feeling a little better at Wolf-fang's words. He ventured out further from the nursery, sniffing at a small beetle that was crawling across the dirt before flipping it over with a small forepaw.

Windkit blinked softly.
A slight breeze brushed her fur, and she shivered, almost immediately wanting to go back to the warmth and darkness of the hollow.
